Flycon Traps

The principle of the trap is that it breaks the breeding cycle of the flies by attracting the male fly with a pheromone mixture (Flycon bait) that then kills the fly.

Over a sustained period the fly population will decrease.

The trap is a yellow square tube about 40cm tall with a glass top to allow light into the trap.

The Flycon Bait comes in a 25L container.

Flycon Installation Instructions

The traps should always be placed in sunlight as this helps activate the attractant.

The mixture is poured 1/3 of the way down the yellow section & then left in sunlight to attract the flies.

The trap should be placed away from buildings you want to keep the flies from.

Pro Tip: A Rule of thumb is that the traps should be about 30m apart.
